Powerful Tips to Boost Memory

By -

Memory is the mental activity of recalling information that you have learned or experienced. However, the power of understanding a situation may differ from one person to another. Forgetfulness is generally very common in human beings and it has been observed that people generally forget things what they memorize.

Here are some tips to boost your memory:

Brain Exercise: Regular brain exercise is essential to keep your brain growing. By developing new mental skills especially difficult ones such as learning a new language or learning to play a new musical instrument and testing your brain with puzzles and games, you can keep your brain active and improve its physiological functioning. One of the best exercises every day is fun puzzle including crosswords, Sudoku, and other games which are easy to download into your PC or mobile phone which you can practice for several minutes per day.
Daily Exercise: Regular aerobic exercises help improving circulation and efficiency throughout the body including the brain and can help ward off the memory loss that comes with aging. Exercise also makes you more alert and relaxed, and can improve your memory, allowing you to take better mental “pictures”.

Reduce Stress: Severe stress in fact can physically damage the brain. It can make remembering rather more difficult. After a prolonged stress the brain will start getting affected and deteriorate.
Logically speaking, stress may never be completely eliminated from one’s life, but it definitely can be controlled. Regular yoga practice or other stretching exercises can reduce the stress.

Eat balanced Diet: There are a plenty of herbal supplements available in the market that claim to be effective to improve memory, but none have yet been shown to be effective in clinical tests (although small studies have shown some promising results). However, a healthy diet can contribute to a healthy brain.

Organize your life: Keep items that you need frequently, such as keys, eyeglasses, medical and sewing kit etc in the same place every time. Use an electronic organizer or daily planner to keep track of your appointments, due dates for bills, and other tasks. Keep phone numbers and addresses in an address book or enter them into your computer or cell phone.

Meditation: Researches now suggest that people who regularly practice mindfulness meditation are able to focus better and may have better memories. Studies at Massachusetts General Hospital show that regular meditation helps increase the blood flow to brain. Some researchers believe this can enhance attention period, focus, and memory.

Sleep Well: The amount of sleep we get affects the mental ability to recall recently learned information. According to recent studies conducted at the Harvard Medical School, getting a good night sleep to a minimum of seven to eight hours may improve your short-term memory and long-term relational memory.

So does anyone have any golf pitching techniques? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
