Google has won a patent on its doodles after a long time. So what exactly has Google patented? Well pretty much a drawing to you but not to Google.

Well the patent titled “Systems and methods for enticing users to access a web site [sic],” gives Google the only right to change its logo relating to special occasions and linking it to search results.

Well to most of you it might seem stupid thing to do but Google has spent 10 years on it, and the genius behind this “doodle” idea is non other then the co-founder himself Sergey Brin.

Google in the past has, lets just say “doodled” their logo corresponding to a special event such as the recently Cricket World cup and Valentines Doodle.
