folks over at T3 contacted the retailer store phones4u regarding a news from one sales representative that the iPhone 5 was going to hit the stores in November. They got a reply saying that “the iPhone 5 has been delayed until November but the only difference between the 4 and the 5 is software updates, that’s the only difference.” The retailer went on further to tell “Apple had a software issue with the handset so they are still waiting to fix that up so it will be November when it is coming out.”
Another thing the retailer told was that the next generation iPhone was going to be the same as iPhone 4 but with a new software update. The only difference between iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 is going to be the software, which previous rumors are pointing to.
To go a step further the guys at T3 went ahead and contacted the head office of Phones4u, they told that they would not issue any official statement, and with regards to the sales representative they said ”over-excited member of staff who is clearly a fan of the iPhone brand.”
While this is just a rumor but all previous indications relate to a late 2011 release of the iPhone 5. It is expected that Apple while hold a conference regarding the iPhone 5 somewhere in September and it would hit the stores in November.
