This is one bit of interesting news to come from a Taiwan. It is being reported by Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty in a meeting telling clients of iPhone component makers in Taiwan that iPhone 5 will start production in mid-august and will be launched this 3rd quarter.

The analyst also mentioned about a cheaper iPhone, as Apple might launch two iPhones one a “normal” high priced one and the other a “lite” version which will made from cheaper material so thus reducing its price.

What Apple is trying to do is penetrate the developing market with its lower priced iPhone. One thing to come out of the report was that the cheaper iPhone would be an iPhone 4, now that’s a bit to think about. Would people buy a cheaper iPhone 4 when the next generation iPhone 5 is out? Well we can’t think everyone rushing to buy the cheaper iPhone 4 when iPhone 5 would be available.

iPhone 5 is going to start production in mid-august and will be launched this 3rd quarter, this seems to match the previous rumors about the iPhone 5 coming this September, one even mentioning the exact date to be 7th September. Although we can not confirm the exact date, well no body can, it is highly likely that it will be launched this September with iOS 5 pre-loaded.
