If you have a jailbroken device you would probably know how much Apple hates you. If not. Then its better you should know now.
As you are probably aware that iOS 4.3.4 has been released to fix the PDF exploit which was used by Comex to jailbreak all the iOS devices including the iPad 2 (iPad 2 can not be jailbroken on Redsnow, Snowbreeze or PwnageTool, it can only be jailbroken on jailbreakme 3.0 running on iOS 4.3.3). This firmware update by Apple fixes all exploit so that means iPad 2 owners can not jailbreak their device on iOS 4.3.4. As far as other devices are concerned (iPhone, iPad 1, iPod touch) they can only be jailbroken (tethered), so for an untethered jailbreak to come it would take quit a few time.
If you have been following Maypalo for a quite some time you will know that iOS 5 has added a new features called Over The Air (OTA), what this does is update your iOS device without the need your permission (if you allowed the auto update). Unlike before which downloaded the whole software, OTA will only update parts that needed to be. So what this means is that Apple can fix any jailbreak exploit within hours!
Even if Apple adds many features to stop jailbreaking the iPhone Dev Team and the Chronic team will still find exploits and most probably will jailbreak all up coming devices. It’s a cat & mouse game that won’t probably stop for at least the coming years.
