As days get closer to the release date of the highly anticipated iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S, there has been less talk about the new iPod touch which according to a new report today is also expected this October.

This new report comes from macrumor who point to a White iPod touch being released with minor improvements. These improvements include an oleophobic coating for the display and a revised ambient light sensor. The other major change this new iPod touch will have is the introduction of the white iPod touch.

So if this is true than the only major thing about the new iPod touch would be the color, that isn’t anything to get excited about.

Some previous rumors regarding the new iPod touch 5G indicated that it would include 3G connectivity, which seems to be highly likely as it had been expected for quite some time.

So basically the new iPod touch is a white screen on iPod touch with a minor improvements. It seems to be a bit weird.
