It is finally here folks, Apple has released iOS 5 for everyone. You can now download iOS 5 for the iPhone, iPad and the iPod touch. So go ahead, what are you waiting for.

iOS 5 which was first demoed way back in June WWDC went through eight beta stages before it got released to the public today.

iOS 5 brings out a massive 200 new features these include a completely new and much needed Notification center, iMessage a service that sends out free messages to other iOS devices much like the BBM on blackberry. iOS 5 integrates twitter to the full extent allowing you to tweet from simply everywhere.

Another big feature of the iOS 5 is going PC-free, that is you no longer require a PC to update to another firmware. Simply use your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to download the latest version of the iOS firmware.

iOS 5 is also required for the iCloud features, the one including Find My Friends and many others.

We have already covered the iOS 5 extensively in the past, so just go ahead and download iOS 5 right now for the iPhone iPad and iPod touch. To download simply plug-in your iOS device and you will get a notification to install iOS 5. Simply click that and you are good to go.
