You might have already heard about the new kind of jailbreak between tethered and untethered. The semi-tethered jailbreak. That allows you to reboot your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch without the need of a computer, a very needy thing for many people.

When the semi-tethered jailbreak was first released by BigBoss repo, it was a big step forward but the downside was that you could not use many functions and one of these was the ability to use Safari.

The semi tethered jailbreak has now been updated and one of the major things the update brings is the ability to use Safari.

For those folks who don’t know much about this semi tethered jailbreak, it’s a package in Cydia that you can download and get closer to an untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.

If you haven’t got it go ahead and download Semi-tethered jailbreak. Remember folks you will first need to jailbreak tethered either using Redsnow or Snowbreeze.
