Well what have we here. Apple is finally testing Siri on the iPhone 4! Yes folks, its true. The rumor you might have already heard about Siri being tested on iPhone 4 is true after all.
Apple has released a special iOS 5 beta to internal employees, and what that “special” means is that, that particular iOS 5 beta has Siri running on it. That firmware (which incorporates Siri) is being currently tested on the iPhone 4 for the last three days according to sources close to appadvice and jailbreaknation. The results are smooth.
The test which were conducted on Siri on the iPhone 4 showed that Siri can work without a problem.
Hackers have already showed that Siri can work on the iPhone 4 and the iPod touch 4G, demoing on video. According to developers who were working on porting Siri to an iPhone 4 mentioned that Siri works almost like on the iPhone 4S but it can not be said the same for iPod touch 4G. iPod touch had problems getting Siri to work on it.
Not only is Siri working on the iPhone 4, hackers have already found out ways to install custom commands to make Siri respond the way you want it to.
Now the most important question is whether Apple will release Siri for the iPhone 4 or not. Well to your disappointment Apple is most likely to not release Siri for the iPhone 4. Heck it’s the only feature people would want to buy an iPhone 4S!
Apple, just like any company wants to keep its shareholders happy, by making them money. So therefore it does not want to risk (yet) getting Siri on the iPhone 4, especially when the holiday season is nearing.
We do not see Siri being incorporated on any other iOS device as of now. If Apple is going to include Siri on the iPhone 4, iPod touch 4G, iPad 2, it will do it in early 2012. Not now.
