Only a couple of hours are left for Apple to unveil its next generation tablet. The iPad 3. While we have covered simply every rumour there is regarding the iPad 3, we might have actually missed something out. And, when we mention “something” it could be the one that will show iPad 3 to be truly amazing!
The technology we are talking about is called Haptic feedback touch screens. As the name suggests, it literally gives feedback. Feedback in the form of making you actually feel what you are touching.
In more simple words, when you touch the screen, it touches you back.
One of the companies that make this haptic touch screen is called Senseg. What’s so interesting about this company is that, they actually make these products in Apple’s backyard. Cupertino, CA.
Senseg turns touch screens into Feel Screens. With Senseg touch screens come alive with textures, contours and edges that users can feel. Using Senseg technology, makers of tablet computers, smart phones, and any touch interface device can deliver revolutionary user experiences with high fidelity tactile sensations. Your customers will Feel the Difference with Senseg.

This could be huge to the actual UI itself; you would be able to feel the keyboard as you type. As we have seen how Apple considers education on their high priority, the educational advantage is simply huge. Students will be able to see and feel what they want to. Games will evolve to a whole new level of interactivity. I can go on and on telling you how ground-breaking this technology is but I will let you use your own imagination.
Now why would I mention this when previously there has been no word regarding such a piece of technology. The simple answer to this is; “And touch”.
We have something you really have to see. And touch.
Is the haptic feedback technology what Apple meant by “and touch”? Although we can not be certain if it did but we know one thing, Apple will definitely reveal something that is relating to the touch screen of iPad 3.
