If someone had asked you 10 years ago 2012 would be like you would have guessed we would be in flying cars, jet packs and all those crazy science fiction stuff but it has not happened. Until today!
We now have confirmation from Google regarding their futuristic glasses, yes folks we are talking about Google Glasses. Google has finally confirmed the existence of these futuristic glasses, not just confirmed it but also released a video showing what exactly it does.
Those people who are not familiar with Google glasses, well let me put it in very simply words. Google glasses are augmented reality glasses that will do pretty much all things Siri does without looking at a screen (kind of).
A picture speaks a thousand words so let this video speak for itself.
Google finally revealed the Google glasses project to the public via their Google+ page, mentioning:
We think technology should work for you—to be there when you need it and get out of your way when you don’t.
Google now wants your input on what should these glasses do or should not:
A group of us from Google[x] started Project Glass to build this kind of technology, one that helps you explore and share your world, putting you back in the moment. We’re sharing this information now because we want to start a conversation and learn from your valuable input. So we took a few design photos to show what this technology could look like and created a video to demonstrate what it might enable you to do.
Google Glasses is probably the most futuristic product that we know of which is currently underdevelopment by Google and is expected to be on sale by the end of this year.
What do you think about Google Glasses? Personally for me; once they are released for the general public, I would be standing first in the line.
