R-SIM mentioned a couple of weeks ago that they were working on unlocking iPhone 4 baseband 4.11.08 and guess what? They have finally completed the solution to unlock iPhone 4 baseband 4.11.08 & 4.12.01 in the form of R-SIM 4.
R-SIM IV has finally been released to unlock iPhone 4 on all basebands including the infamous 4.11.08, the one that had kept thousands of users stuck with an expensive iPod touch.
Maypalo first mentioned about R-SIM IV unlocking solution for iPhone 4 back in late March, after hitting many delays the developers behind this have finally completed the unlock for iPhone.
Unlock iPhone 4/4S Using R-SIM IV
You can now unlock your GSM iPhone 4 with the new R-SIM IV. will work for iOS version 4.1, 4.2, 4.2.1, 4.3, 4.3.1, 4.3.2, 4.3.3, 4.3.4, 4.3.5, 5.0, 5.0.1 and 5.1 with modem firmware 1.59, 2.10, 3.10.1, 4.10.1, 4.11.08, 4.12.01. Be sure to check your firmware version before purchase!
The new R-SIM IV unlocks your GSM iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1 and earlier and now supports modem firmware versions 1.59, 2.10, 3.10.1, 4.10.1, 4.11.08, and 4.12.01. Currently, a tethered Jailbreak is available for iOS 5.1 for iPhone 4, and you will also need to install the latest Furious Mod file for proper operation.

there is a simple answer applenberry and eachsupplier just copied the the method of great chinese hacker “loktar_Sun” on their interposer sim. one answer is fuck applenberry and eachsupplier and others who claim 04.11.08 unlock after him.
This is what i call bad timing, r-sim And gevey had mounths to release An unlock And make alot of money And now they will Sell shit cós there is sam unlock there is free,ahahah
Shahdat i agree with you fuck appleberry and the others they are just copy cats ….how convenient that “all of a sudden” they have cracked the baseband.. it will be interesting to see when apple plugs this hole if the sims will work …we will wait and see!!

Yes me too please, we have 5.0.1 too and I want 5.1
It works on 5.01 I used the SAM unlock with my iPhone 4 on 5.1 with basebnad 4.12.01. It works perfectly, the only downside is the tethered jailbreak.

If they’ve copied loktar method then that means that the r-sim isn’t needed after the unlock.

I believe this HOLE/EXPLOIT will get patched on iOS 6. Expect new system file structures with iOS 6 which even the save Lock-down files wouldn’t work.
I would still love to buy Gevey if they going to lower its price to $19.99
Since SAM method doesn’t work for me, as i do not know my original carrier which my iphone locked to, this might be solution 4 me. Congrats 4 those who able to unlock their iphone using SAM
mate finde your orriginal carrier by seral number and model… Just google it, or use itools.hk/tscms to see you original carrier… Rest is easy job, just follow tut on maypalo.

It’s pretty hilarious, waiting such a long time for an unlock and all of a sudden when the SAM Unlock is released for free, all the interposers arise. Well mates of R-Sim, Rebel and Gevey, and magically they now need the phone to be jailbroken. I hope your sales are flat zero. Delaying for such a long time a release.
