Many had doubts when suddenly Gevey released a SIM right after the SAM unlock method developed by Loktar Sun, that how could they suddenly come up with a solution when they had been silent for about six months. Well if you had a doubt on the credibility of the unlock regarding it being copied from SAM unlock method. It is true, Gevey copied SAM unlock method.
Today in a blog post Applenberry (official distributors of Gevey) mentioned they are recalling all Gevey Ultra 5.1 for iPhone 4. What this means is that; if you had ordered Gevey Ultra to unlock your iPhone 4, it simply won’t work as the loophole that was discovered to unlock all iPhones no matter what baseband they are on has been fixed by Apple.
Unfortunately, the GEVEY™ Ultra 5.1 for GSM iPhone 4 will no longer unlock the iPhone 4. The unlocking mechanism used in this model was based on Loktar Sun’s discovery of an Apple server logic error that took advantage of an ICCID bug to unlock the iPhone modem firmware. On April 27, Apple fixed this bug.
Now those users who did not try the free SAM unlock method and instead ordered Gevey Ultra to unlock iPhone 4. Well what can I say, you are probably stuck with an iPhone 4 for even longer time although there was a free option available for you.
Outrage On Copying
Now the worst part about this is that; not only were they copying from someone who originally developed the unlock, Gevey was charging almost $50 for the unlock when it was available for free!
People are outraged about Gevey Ultra being an exact copy of SAM unlock method. People have taken their anger on their Facebook fan page. Some of these are:

Andy Scott: Slagging off those who were using SAM and not buying a Gevey, while all the time the Gevey was based on it?! That’s low…
Mohammad Sammy: Applenberry, ur situation is comedy now … You Stole other people’s bugs, lie to your remaining customers in order to steal their money for a FREE solution..

i didnt do the sam thing and wanted to buy the gevey sim but it was sold out so i waited more time and now this fuck you gevey, r sim, apple and sam i want a diferent soloution!!

These guys are clowns and Apple You are a fucking joke the jailbreak are every were in the net and you fucking bastards close the fucking hole to the desperate users who have iphones locked for a decade stored at home and using a cheap phone.

This is some more gevey BS! If anybody has an ATT locked phone they can email me at hjillson12@gmail.com and for a price I can have it unlocked because I am in the USA and have an ATT account so they will unlock me iPhones.

Just wait within the time-frame given, And just add another 1 day before you call/email them to follow-up your case.
Riza, just wait and they will send you an email soon. there will be 2 emails. the first informing you they have reviewed your case and had it resolved and apologize for the inconvenience. second, about a few minutes from the first, another email giving you instruction on how you will unlock your iphone. so just be patient and soon you will also be one of the happiest iphone owner.
So is the R-SIM/Rebel SIM still working?

I did mind with Sam, saved the unlock tickets and Im using my iPhone 4 to write this and my phone is an AT&T iPhone. Gevey is at the lowest for doing that. I bought one of they sims Before but never again.
What should I do If my carrier is not in the SAM activation list? Can I use just manual activation with my unique IMSI number?
