Well what do we have here, the release date for the untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1.1! It seems that the Chronic Dev team with pod2g is going to release Absinthe untethered jailbreak tomorrow on Friday.

Currently most of the hackers in the jailbreaking community are attending a Hack In The Box security conference at Amsterdam. Some of these prominent hackers include musclenerd, pod2g, choric dev team, just to name a few. While the conference just ended its first day, HITB Security Conference had some interesting stuff lined up tomorrow.

A Live jailbreak!

The only thing we can think that relates to a  “live jailbreak” is Absinthe version 2.0 which was expected to be released this week. But the only thing that makes it unsure is the title listed for tomorrow’s event.

It lists as “Corono jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1″ and “Absinthe jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1″.

We can hope that this is a typo from HITHSecConf side and we do get the untethered jailbreak we all have been waiting for quite some time now.
