It seems we simply can’t get enough of iPhone 5 rumors as more rumors keep coming and coming. This time we have what could be an image of the next generation iPhone 5.

The folks over 9to5mac are reporting on something very interesting and that is an image of the next generation iPhone 5. A black and white iPhone 5 can be seen next to each other in the image above.

The picture above shows the back panel of an iPhone 5 and the first distinctive feature is that glass has been replaced with a metal back, something we have mentioned a couple of times before. It is currently unsure what function the metal back panel has but we can assume it is for stylish purpose?

The photo above also shows earphone jack moved to the bottom corner left corner from the current top left corner. The dock connector has also been given a makeover as the long dock connector has been shortened.

We are bound to get more rumors as we get closer to 11 June, the day Apple is going to hold it’s World Wide Developers Conference. So expect more in the days ahead!
