how to downgrade to 5.1?
you can’t
ok.. what is the next solution? its a factory unlocked phone.. should i wait till the next beta 2 release or till the official launch of ios6?
Someone managed to downgrade putting the device in DFU mode, then downgrade (you must have saved the SHSH of the firmware).
the ipad links dont work. anyone know why?
You can downgrade to 5.1.1, because APPLE is signing this update(in your case – downgrade) It is not possible to downgrade from stable releases, but from BETAS YOU CAN.
ios 6 still have jailbreak procedure?
“Alt+Ctrl for Windows users”
IT IS SIFT + ALT NOT aLT+CTRL FOR WINDOWS
And you can try force downgrade from beta with the procedure for bricked ipads:
Start iTunes and connect iPad to the computer. Wait until iTunes recognizes iPad under the device section, and then turn iPad off. Now hold the Home and on/off button simultaneously for about ten seconds, then release the on/off button. Hold the Home button for another 20 seconds (iPad will look dead through the whole procedure). A window in iTunes will pop up and offer you a chance to force install the latest stable version of iOS on your device from the Internet.
Ir worked for me after totally bricked 5 beta 2 with some test app and decided I have enough.
