    there is no permanent unlock method as of today 6/16/12 for bb 4.08.01 and 4.12.08 not unless you mananged to unlock your iphone 4 w/ sam and saved your activation tickets. :) lets just wait for updates…

    After months of waiting for unlock solution at 4.11.08…
    I bought the factory unlock at rebel sim website.
    After waiting over two weeks and thought I had lost 49 pounds to a scam site.
    Then I received an email from rebelsim…
    It said to fallow the steps in the link and connect to itunes and do a restore when it runs out after the restoration could get the card I wanted.
    I did everything I inserted the network card and pin .. and he start searching voyla, VF P.
    My iPhone was locked to Bouygues France but im from Portugal as I said I paid 49 pounds with paypal.

    I unlocked my iPhone 4 with SAM and i saved my unlock tickets, i câm. Upgrade to any IOS and never loose unlock.
    Be patiente people i had my iphone locked for 8 mouths untill SAM arrived, in sure something will come out.

    Beholder sabes me explicar, ou indicares-me um site que descreva bem o processo de upgrade para não perder o unlock. Fiz o desbloqueio com o SAM e gravei os unlock tickets… Ainda estou na versão 4.11.08 com o 5.0.1… Obrigado

      Boas eu já ando nestas andanças do iPhone há uns tempos, tive 6 meses com o iPhone bloqueado e o SAM salvou-me a vida. Não percebia nepia há uns meses mas agora tou pro. Se quiseres fazer o upgrade pra o iOS 5.1.1 deves fazer pelo snowbreeze pois ele garante que a baseband não altera. Para fazeres o restore do SAM e dos activation tickets podes guiar-te por este poste: m.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=21639
      Vale a pena fazeres o upgrade pro 5.1.1 pois foi o melhor iOS dos últimos tempos. Se não tiveres a certeza do que estas a fazer não inventes mas eu tou aqui pra te ajudar e já fiz tudo e mais alguma coisa no iPhone, pra mim não tem segredos se precisares diz qualquer coisa.     Why wait for an unlock on your iphone? where you can already enjoy it using “GMATE”.     @DBHEEM – if you’re referring to SoftBank Japan, then to my knowledge unfortunately not. There are a handful of international iPhones that cannot be unlocked. If your iPhone from Japan is with a different carrier it might be unlockable.

    I really don’t think locking your iphone into a carrier is a wise idea. With so many people selling their phones and others buying them. We end up stuck especially when you buy from someone else and not know their information. Seriously all the money iphones cost they should worry about customers and not the wireless networks to ensure they get money out of people. All I can see is why a lot of people are selling their iphones and flipping to others. This lock down by apple is only going to hurt them in the end, I believe.

    This might be redundant or someone already answered my question in the previous posts. I have an IPhone 4 OS 5.1.1 and firmware locked with a canadian (rogers) network. I want to use it in the USA with at & t or whichever network possible. I just want to unlock it and start using the phone. As I am doing my research I am getting mixed responses from everyone. Some say it can while some say it cannot be unlocked. Need a definite answer. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

    Verizon and Sprint can both be done. The esn MUST be clean. Takes about 3-5 days.

    Officialiphone Unlock is a bloody SCAM…. they asked me to pay 50 quids, which I did, then they said OH Your phone is barred… you must pay 40 quids more…which again I did….and now they want an additional 20 quids. So my bloody unlock is costing me 110 QUIDS…. SCREW these AH…… THEY ARE A SCAM and i AINT PAYING the extra 20 Quids …Farhan disappointing that you would market such THEIVES
