Do you remember Nexus 7 which was unveiled at Google’s I/O event a couple of weeks back? Well apparently it has become so popular that Google has stopped selling the 16GB version of Nexus 7.
Many people previously had doubts whether Nexus 7 would be able to compete with Amazon’s kindle fire in the smaller tablet market, well it seems we have the answer as the 7 inch Nexus 7 tablet has been outstanding in the sales department as the 16GB version has simply outsold expectations.
The $199 Nexus 7 8GB model was expected to be selling like hot cakes as it was way better than Amazon’s Kindle Fire in terms of specifications and although we don’t have official numbers it seems it is doing really well.
What most people did not expect was that 16GB version which costs $250 would outsell the 8GB version. Well it is no rocket science that you pay only $50 more and get double the storage, seems Google planners did not think that.
Now this does not mean Google has completely stopped selling 16GB version of Nexus 7, this is only a temporary stop meaning you will be able to buy a 16GB version whenever stocks are back up again or in this case a week or more.
So what do you think about the Nexus 7? Are you going to buy one?
