As part of our unlocking series we bring you another permanent factory unlocking service for our readers. This time it is for those users who have AT&T locked iPhone’s and want to factory unlock them. Well if you are one of them then read ahead on how to factory unlock your iPhone.

Factory Unlock AT&T iPhone

This factory unlock solution comes from unlockanyattiphone.com which as you can guess from the name; factory unlock all AT&T iPhone models including the infamous iPhone 4 baseband 4.11.08/4.12.01. So folks if you were stuck on the infamous baseband and wanted to get rid of it then this is it for you.

One of biggest advantages unlockanyattiphone has over its competitors is the price range. As you might already be aware of some services out there that unlock AT&T iPhone models such as cutyoursim or recently Applenberry’s factory unlock, it is currently the cheapest one for factory unlocking iPhone. The price of factory unlock starts from $95 (via Paxum) while cutyoursim and Applenberry both start at $189 and $150 respectively.

Unlockanyattiphone also has gives discount for those users who purchase 10 or more iPhone unlocks which can save you around 25%, or if you want to bulk order something the percent can increase even further.

Once you order your factory unlock, it will take around 2-5 business days for your order to be processed and for you to be able to get your iPhone unlocked. Once the order has been complete you will receive instructions via email.

After we unlock your iPhone you will receive an email from us. After this you will just need to connect your iPhone to iTunes. If your iPhone is jailbroken you will need to restore your iPhone via iTunes first. You will be able to re-jailbreak after the unlock is complete. You will not need to enter any codes as this is a permanent factory unlock solution.

For those of you who are wondering to the question regarding having an AT&T account. Well folks you do not need one as this process is done entirely on your behalf.

This unlock is for all iPhone’s not just iPhone 4 but also for iPhone 4S baseband 4.12.01.

  1. Wonder way it is I can by a second hand iphone out of contract but can’t get Apple to unlock it but I can pay a company to get a phone under contact unlocked at Apple. One day a class action will take care of this problem.

I think that maximum price for iphone unlock solution should be not more than 50$!!! Really, not more. Anyway iphones’ contract owners already have sold them to others… Those others anyway are waiting and waiting for cheap or free unlock solution. So, why at&t cannot make unlock for 50$ or less. They will earn more money, if everybody will pay for the cheap unlock solution. A lot of users are from different countries. It means, that they will not effect at&t politic or anything else. So, why it cannot be cheaper, I cannot understand. What are they waiting for?

  3. Everyone must also remember that if you purchase a used iphone from another person that was bought under a 2 year contract then you will not be able to get the phone unlocked until the end of that 2 year contract, so if the phone was sold 3 months after the contract was made then you will have to wait 1 year and 9 months before at&t will unlock the phone. I know this from first hand experience and nobody can get the phone factory unlocked for you through at&t because they will refuse to do so even if you have at&t as a carrier. Also apple-n-berry will not be able to get the phone unlocked for you either because just like anyone else they are using at&t to get the device unlocked and they are not paying 1 fucking dime to get the phones unlocked. They have recruited people to contact at&t for them to unlock the devices so if you do purchase a used iphone make damn sure that there is not contract left on the phone or you will be totally screwed until the contract has expired.

Wait… You want to say, that even for money they will not unlock my phone? I know that after contract terms finished everyone can unlock his iphone FREE of charge directly via at&t service by e-mail or phone call. But that paid services… I thought are for those guys, who have locked contract phone and want to unlock it before contract term will be finished. I cannot believe that here everybody are sitting with finished contract phones and waiting for PAID unlocking offer for them. Those all who read everyday such web sites to my mind have locked “contract” phones and due to that reason they are waiting for any solution…

So, as for me, I have 2 years contract phone. 1 year already passed, so in the middle of next year I can unlock my phone free of charge (if this at&t offer still will be available). In this case I will do it myself without any support from other sites for money… But right now can I unlock my phone for money? Or even for money it is impossible??? In this case I have one question… Who are all those people, sitting here, trying to unlock their phones, even for money? You want to say that all of them have phones with finished contract?

      • Exactly what I am saying is nobody on this earth can unlock any at&t iphone that is still under contract and I don’t care who the hell it is. I have no idea what other people’s situation is with their phones but I know for a fact that at&t will in no way unlock any phone that is still under contract. I purchased 2 iphone 4s off ebay and 1 of them had an expired contract and the other did not. My good friend has a contract with at&t and he attempted to have the iphone’s unlocked for me. At&t stated they cannot and will not unlock 1 of the iphones because it is still under contract until September of 2011. I don’t know who is going to be doing the unlocking for the sites that say they can get your at&t iphone factory unlocked for you but I can guarantee you that there is no way in hell that they will get any iphone unlocked that is still under contract. Once the contract is expired you can get the damn iphone unlocked yourself through anyone that has a current contract with at&t. You can believe what you want but if you pay someone to unlock your iphone and it is still under contract then you will have no one to blame but yourself if you end up getting ripped off because as I already stated several times it just is not going to happen. Hopefully you can understand exactly what I mean. Either sell your iphone and get one that has an expired contract or wait until the contract has expired and get the damn iphone unlocked for free through at&t. Good Luck

  4. Copied from another forum

Did email to at&t and get the replied:
Thank you for taking the time to e-mail AT&T to request the device
    un-lock code for your iPhone.

The IMEI you provided is not eligible to be unlocked because of security
restrictions. Non AT&T customers are not eligible to have their iPhone
unlocked through AT&T. AT&T will unlock an iPhone under the following
    circumstances:

? The person requesting the unlock is a current AT&T customer or a
former AT&T customer who can provide the phone number or account number
    for the account
? The iPhone was designed for use on AT&T?s network; all contract
obligations, including any term commitment, associated with the device
to be unlocked have been fully satisfied.
? The iPhone has not been reported lost or stolen.

Also, current customer accounts must be in good standing with no
past-due amount or unpaid balance and has been active for at least sixty
    (60) days. Former customer account may be eligible for unlocking so long
as you do not owe AT&T no Early Termination Fee or other unpaid balance.

I am the un-eligible to get the unlock service

Any other ways to unlock it?

    • Dima Kram

Completely you’re right! My friend from USA also called to att customer service department and asked about my iphone. They said that everything is ok (I mean his account, paid balance, etc.), but iphone still under the contract… So, it can be unlocked only next (2013) year in May. But if you want to unlock it anyway, you have to pay… I don’t remember their calculation, but it was like each month remaining till contract will be finished, you have to pay… It was a lot and I said that stop this procedure… But if situation like that, why people pay money to the web-sites for unlocking in case if their phones NOT under the contract conditions?? Let them unlock it easily theirselves. But if they have still contract obligations, WHY are they here and at another web pages? :)

      • Many people are totally ignorant about the qualifications that are necessary to unlock their iphones. They have no idea what it takes to get their phones unlocked and as I said all these companies that are offering factory unlock methods are using people who have at&t as a provider and of course everyone stating that they can factory unlock your iphone are not mentioning that the iphones must be out of contract in fear of losing prospects. It is just one big fucking rip off because I can guarantee you that the sorry bastards that are offering the iphone factory unlocks are not paying 1 red fucking cent to do so and anyone who is willing to pay 150 to 200 dollars to unlock an iphone is a total fucking idiot or they just have money to burn.

  5. I had 3 iphones unlocked at appleunlockcodes.com they are fast and guarantee money back if they cant unlock it.

  6. I used unlockblock.com I emailed them asking their best price and they did it for 50 bucks. Took a little less than 24 hours. They were quick to respond which I liked, as I must have emailed them at least 5 or 6 times with questions before purchasing.

So Let’s clear this up.. Has anyone who had an AT&T iphone 4S STILL UNDER CONTRACT been able to get their iphone factory unlocked through this website or any other, or are all these websites SCAMS ripping off ignorant people who don’t know the AT&T rules (AT&T does not allow the factory unlock if the phone is still under it’s orig 2 year contract. Almost all 4S phones are still under their orig 2 year contract – the phone is < 2 years old!!
Please post here if you have been able to have your UNDER CONTRACT iphone factory unlocked.
I assumed there was an 'inside guy' or something at apple unlocking these phones for these pay for unlock sites.
