We have got another news regarding the next generation iPhone. This time it is relating to the production phase of the up coming iPhone 5. According to a new report today, Pegatron has started production of iPhone 5 which is expected to début later this year.
The new report from DigiTimes mention that iPhone 5 production has started by Pegatron, another Apple supplier. What this means is that now iPhone 5 production is in full throttle.
Pegatron has begun production of a new version of the Apple iPhone at its factory in Shanghai, eastern China, according to industry sources in Taiwan.
Pegatron is expected to see ODM shipments of notebooks decrease sequentially in third-quarter 2012, and orders for the new version iPhone are enough to make up for decreased revenues from the notebook segment, the sources indicated.
We previously reported that iPhone 5 production had finally started with a new design and now this report further strengths about the rumours regarding the production of next generation iPhone.
It is expected that the next generation iPhone 5 will feature a 4 inch display, 4G LTE and in-cell technology. Currently there are many rumours and reports regarding a release date for iPhone 5 but so far nothing is concrete expect a time frame of later this year.
