Google took over the internet when it gave a demo of it’s Google Glasses; Skydivers, bikers, people jumping from buildings, it was the event of the year when Sergy took to the stage to show Google Glasses, people were simply wowed. Now to answer those Google Glasses Apple might be coming up with something of its own. Read below for more details.
Apple has been granted a patent for a wearable computer, as you can see from the picture above (via patentlyapple) the picture depicts a device much like that of Google Glasses. So does this mean Apple is working on its own Glasses maybe iGlasses?
Well the answer definitely is not “yes” but neither is it “no”.
The patent title “display resolution increase with mechanical actuation” is in fact something quite different from a high-tech glasses. What the patent actually tells us is that, it is about increasing the pixel density of a display placed over someone’s eye. In other words these can not only be used for glasses but for TV too!
Get’s more interesting right?
Apple had been granted another patent regarding a wearable computer couple of months back, whetting our tech apatite but non so far have proven what actually Apple is planning to do regarding a wearable computer.
On the other hand we have Apple that simply does not say no to a challenge and when it is especially coming from Google in the form of Google Glasses, Apple is going to work day and night to match it or even better annihilate it.
The image above of the patent is not actually a design patent so therefore we currently do not know what the design of the final product will look like
Well whatever might be the case we are in for a treat from both Google and Apple. What do you think?
