Rumors Claim That Apple’s New iPhone Will Carry A Smaller 8-Pin Connector Port

By -

As the time for the launch of iPhone 5 is coming closer, analysts, bloggers, fans and insiders, all are looking anxiously for the latest news to keep themselves updated with where the Apple is up to. Every site, related to tech, is particularly focused on the news that is related to Apple. Something new that has been heard about the upcoming iPhone is that, it will be carrying a smaller 8-pin connector port.

It is also said that the next-gen iPhone will be slightly more thinner, with re-positioned headphone jack and a few cosmetic tweaks. But the most dominating change is that it will be a smaller dock connector. When talking about size, it also has to be mentioned that the current 30-pin job was initially thought to be transformed into almost half of its size, that is 19-pin connector. The smaller port will make the iDevice look even more aesthetic. But Jeremy Horwitz from iLounge, reported that 19-pin connector is now even more reduced to 8-pin connector. He further added that the 8-pin connector introduced by Apple is more advantageous over USB.

Jeremy Horwitz from iLounge discussed that 19-pin connector would have been more sensible than the 8-pin one. As compared to the current 30-pin connector, the 19 pin would have been reduced by 11 pins, which is still widely used by accessory makers. But reducing them to 8 pins made many of the accessories useless (even with some kind of adapter).

Furthermore, a new Bluetooth 4. is attached to the new iOS, which will be a door opner for iPod nano watch. Using this you can use your iPad nano, for example for reading your iMessages, which is going to be quite interesting for the users.
