The Apple vs. Samsung case in San Jose is reaching to its peak and the case is also revealing some of the hidden stories of the two companies. Recently one such mail was brought to the court by Samsung, as an evidence against Apple and to justify that Apple also keeps a close eye on its opponents and their production.
This mail was between the four Apple execs—Eddy Cue, Tim Cook, Scott Forstall, and Phil Schiller and was highlighting the receptive attitude of the Steve Jobs about the 7-inch iPad. Though the company had dismissed the idea of a 7-inch iPad but it was not completely abandoned but was under conversation in the company. This can be seen through the affirmative attitude of Steve Job, as mentioned by Eddy Cue and he himself said in that mail that,
Having used a Samsung Galaxy, I tend to agree with many of the comments below (except moving off the iPad). I believe there will be a 7″ market and we should do one. I expressed this to Steve several times since Thanksgiving and he seemed very receptive the last time. I found email, books, facebook and video very compelling on a 7″. Web browsing is definitely the weakest point, but still usable.
All this stuff is pointing out toward the idea of the coming 7.85-inch iPad by Apple, soon in September, that was this new thought was introduced by Eddy Cue or not, and was this an inspiration from Samsung. The Apple and Samsung are standing neck to neck to prove themselves innocent, while are behind them to keep you updated.
