When many users jailbreak their iPhone or iPad with Absinthe, many of them faced the famous Installous API Error “API Unavailable” or “API Permission Denied” when trying to download apps from Installous. This error makes the usage of your device quite annoying, thus we bring you the way to fix the installous API error for iPad 3.

In order to fix this API error for your iPad 3, firstly, you have to go to cydia and open it. At the bottom of the screen a bar is located, from where you have to select’ manage’ and then click ‘packages’. The next step you have to perform is to uninstall your AppSync, for which you have to tap it and than have to click the option which says modify and than confirm it. In the similar way, following this you have to uninstall installous.

The next step includes the turning off of your iDevice and than switching it on. After this, you have to again go to cydia and than to manage. There then to ‘sources’ and than go to Hackulo.us, which will show you an option to install AppSync of your firmware. After installing it first, you have to than go for installous to be installed. The next step is to go to the actual App store and download a free app, you can later on delete this app, if you don’t want it. This step is important to reset your settings in your iPad.

Afterwards, go to installous and download another app, usually that one which occupies less space in your device. Now you can operate that app and download other apps from installous.
