Now you would have realized that your phones can perform almost every task, that is in their boundaries. You can watch movies, play games on some greatest platform, listen to the music and much more. But now there something unexpected is coming through your phones. This means that now you can control your car using your own Phones, through MirrorLink. It’s an open standard for connecting your phone to your car, safely.

You can pair your phone with the car using the Bluetooth and can even use the microphones and the speakers of the car to make and receive calls. Further, you can also connect your phone to the USB port in the car, if present, to play the MP3 and enjoy the music, and in the meanwhile charging your phone. MirrorLink is safer and lets you use a bigger screen on the dashboard, which makes your car look dazzling.

MirrorLink uses the GPS of the car, than that of your phone, as it is more stronger and help your to navigate more efficiently. And you don’t have to plug a speaker cable into the headphone socket to get voice navigation from the car speakers, as it all goes over the MirrorLink connection – and the music will mute or pause when there are directions to listen to.

Now lets have a look on how MirrorLink is saver enough to be installed in your car. It provides a much easier interface, which prevents the distraction of your attention from driving, by providing few applications. This is called Car Mode. Before starting the journey your can preset your play list and driving route so that while driving you don’t have to face any difficulty.

You can add more apps to your this system but these will be non-attention distracting like internet radio. It also tells your phone, the speed of your car. Nokia is pushing MirrorLink the most so far, but there are other phones too working on this new car system through phone, such as, HTC, LG, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and Motorola.
