The rumours regarding the next generation iPhone had put Apple’s High Definition Television on the sidelines, but today we have some news for the rumoured iTV and the iPad mini. Jefferies analyst Peter Misek mentions that Apple’s HDTV and iPad mini are in full production and we can expect them to be launched as early as the end of this year or the beginning of 2013.
We mentioned a couple of days ago that Apple’s HDTV is in fact going to be a set-top-box and will feature iPad icons. Well after that it seems the rumours have started to pour in regarding the iTV.
Jefferies analyst Peter Misek reports that Apple has started full production of the iTV and the iPad mini. Apple’s HDTV is rumoured to be expected to launch as early as the end of this year. But the one thing we can be sure that is coming out this year is the iPad mini and the iPhone 5.
Misek (via Forbes) speculates these details on the data coming out of the suppliers of Apple components. Sharp and Hon Hai have both seen a major increase in their sales figure and revenue which is normally flat during this period of the year, indicating a major demand most probably from Apple.
The rumoured Apple HDTV has been in the talks for quite sometime now. It is expected that iTV (Apple’s TV) will feature Siri the voice feature of the iPhone 4S (and soon to be on iPad 3) and other gesture recognitions from companies such as JDSU which recently mentioned that it has gained a new non-gaming customer for its gesture control, hinting towards Apple.
iPad mini was on the list but Apple’s HDTV in full production too? Hard to decide. Well what do you think? Is Apple TV coming out at the end of this year?
