This is kind of a shocker. Imagine a single product that didn’t exist 5 years ago and is now worth more than entire Microsoft’s product line up. Yes folks you read that right. Apple’s iPhone is now worth more than every Microsoft product created since 1975! This sounds fake but it is the truth.

As we reported sometime ago and Apple has just crossed the once might Microsoft to take the position of being the most valuable company in the history of trading, well we can now say that only Apple’s iPhone is enough to take on the entire Microsoft.

This might seem kind of normal for you but take a look at what is actually being said. A single product division that is the iPhone which did not even exists 5 years ago is now worth more than Microsoft. Holy cow!

Amazing right?

The last quarter which ended in March showed only iPhone sales at $22.7 billion while the entire Microsoft Corporation had sales totalling $17.4 billion.

Although I should point out here that we do not exactly know how much profit Apple makes from the iPhone while comparing profits reported by Microsoft.

If we consider that, the numbers might vary but you get the general idea on how successful the iPhone is or may I call how Microsoft has been falling recently.

The new product from Microsoft, Surface, which is expected to go head-to-head against the iPad will boost some confidence in Microsoft but can Surface take on the might iPad? Well you decide on that.

Apple is now worth more than Microsoft, Google, Yahoo and Cisco combined! That is a huge achievement in itself.
