iPhone 4s  is no more the king of the “Top most selling smartphone in the United States”. Now this title is owned by the toughest competitor of Apple, it is non other than Samsung. According to the sources Samsung Galaxy S3 has won the battle against Apple’s iPhone 4S. The competition for both of the leading brands is heating up as; Apple wants to get back to their position and for Samsung to maintain their rank.

When Samsung Galaxy S3 was introduced in June, from the very beginning it attracted many customers and was always a threat for Apple but somehow Apple with its Siri voice app remained on its position. As the month of August started, Samsung Galaxy S3 slowly and gradually took over the battle field and at last it is ranked as the top most selling smartphone in the United states.

Apple is about to launch iPhone 5 on 12 of September and people all over the world are highly crazy about it and it is believed that it will break all previous records of smartphones. As news about iPhone 5 gets everybody’s attention, it is expected that many will switch from Samsung Galaxy S3 to the most anticipated smartphone that is iPhone 5.

Although Samsung Galaxy S3 is on the lead right now but many analyst are expecting iPhone 5 to take over the Galaxy smartphone from Samsung to be ranked as the top dog in the market. Leaked features regarding iPhone 5 suggest that it might easily take over the Galaxy S3.

For all those who are disappointed for the loss of Apple, don’t be upset because the mega event is about to come and hopefully iPhone 5 will mark a new record in the history of smartphones.

So let’s just allow Samsung to enjoy their minor victory because there is lot more to come and Apple will surely be back in the lead.
