When we found out that Apple did not include YouTube app in iOS 6 beta, we were a bit sceptical whether it was a bug or a mistake from Apple’s side, but there were other reports that it had stopped supporting YouTube native app. Well we found out that the latter was true. Apple stopped supporting the native YouTube app in iOS 6. Well as it turns out Google has launched a new YouTube app for the iPhone and iPod touch. Check out the details below.

Google has launched the new YouTube app and after testing it myself for sometime I do seem to like it more than the previous one, after all it has been made by the company who actually own it rather than Apple.

When Apple removed the native YouTube app, the reaction was quite somewhat positive considering that the app had not had a major revamp since the original iPhone.

This new YouTube app is definitely a welcome.

New features include a new UI, ability to check your subscriptions with a simple swipe gesture, Google Voice Search, and much more.
