iPhone 5 Dual Core A6 1.02 GHz Processor Beats Samsung Galaxy S3 & HTC One X

The most anticipated device of 2012, the iPhone 5 was finally launched with a huge suspense that was finally brought down by the negative reviews we mostly got about it. The first reactions from blogs and people alike were mostly negative mentioning it only as a big screen and nothing else.

Well those Apple fans amongst you, we have got a good news, and that is we have got benchmarks regarding the iPhone 5 and to some it might surprise you.

As you might be aware that iPhone 5 packs the new more powerful A6 processor and with this new beauty comes with some needed improved specs.

Benchmark tests have been done on iPhone 5′s A6 processor and the results reveal something most of you would not have expected. iPhone 5′s A6 dual core 1.02 GHz processor beats Samsung’s flagship device the Galaxy S3 and HTC’s top smartphone HTC One X.

iPhone 5′s 1.02 GHz dual core processor scores a total of 1601 on the GeekBench Score board. You know what that means? Well to put in a lay-mans term it means iPhone 5′s A6 processor beats pretty much every powerhouse android device, that includes Samsung Galaxy S3, HTC One X, AND Nexus 7.

Take a look at the GeekBench score for android devices.

So those of you who were disappointed with iPhone 5, this might be able to cheer you up.

Do note that these benchmark tests would be more accurate once we get the iPhone 5 on 21 September.

The Benchmark tests do reveal much about iPhone 5′s A6 processor that it beats pretty much every android device but we still do have some powerhouse devices coming up later this year and those are the Nokia Lumia 920 and HTC’s up coming latest flagship device HTC One X+.
