You might already be aware of the news regarding the jailbroken iPhone 5. iPhone 5 Jailbreak Release Date

Yesterday a famous iOS hacker named Grant Paul a.k. @chpwn managed to jailbreak the iPhone 5 which he got on the same day. It has to be quite an amazing record, to be the first person to jailbreak the iPhone 5.

When the news broke out regarding jailbreaking the iPhone 5, many people were excited to see that they might be getting a jailbreak tool for the iPhone 5 very quickly. Well the first is true but the latter is not. You will get the iPhone 5 jailbreak, but is it inevitable to get it soon? Well that’s a bit hard to guess.

You see jailbreaking the iPhone is quite hard but the real hard bit is actually “transferring” the jailbreak to another iOS device. When the iPad 3 came out there were many hackers who managed to jailbreak the new iPad 3 within 24 hours but it took  awfully a long time to develop Absinthe v2.0 to jailbreak all devices.

So the same goes for iPhone 5.

The process which hampers in making a faster jailbreak tool whenever a new Apple devices comes out is the processor.

iPhone 5 has the new next generation A6 processor which is a complete revamp from the previous A5/A5X processors. It gives the iPhone 5 a complete advantage over its competitors but on the other hand it does prove to be a problem for jailbreakers/unlockers.

But for some people such as Grant Paul it does not.

To correctly predict a jailbreak release date for the iPhone 5 is like finding a needle in haystack, unless more and more people come out with jailbroken iPhones’.

But it would not be a such a wild guess when I say the jailbreak for the iPhone 5 might come next month, considering how popular the devices has been.
