Remember that trial between Apple and Samsung, where Apple demanded $1 billion dollars from Samsung for copying its design. Apple has demanded Samsung an additional amount of $707 million for damages from Samsung, which are almost three quarter of a billion. These $707 million are another additional award from Apple to Samsung. You’ll be wondering that what is the reason behind all this? Apple is asking for such a great deal of money for several reasons. The amount is much more than Samsung expected.

The reason Apple is asking $707 from Samsung is because of the following charges; $535 million are charged on Samsung for sneaking and copying the Apple design, another $121 million has to be paid to compensate for Samsung’s earnings while the original jury was out deliberating. There’s also and addition $50 million of payment interest on damages through December 31. This a heavy amount to be paid by Samsung.

Samsung has requested for a retrial for its parts and also said it would add the recently released iPhone 5 to its patent trials in the United States. This will be quite unbelievable to see the king of smartphones banned in USA. Sounds odd. This war will last more than any other news and until now it is seems that Apple will once again win the battle but this time Samsung is also back in action.
