Apple’s Immediate Response to Map App Problem

By -

When iPhone 5 was launched, everything was going just perfect, except one thing, the maps. We have already kept you informed that in iPhone 5, instead of Google maps Apple had introduced its own maps. Although the map app is quite good but users, who have finally got their iPhone 5 have bulk of complains with this new change and iOS 6 users too. Now this had become a serious issue for Apple, so Apple has started responding these complains and are looking for immediate solutions.

According to reports, it is said that Apple is using its huge staff to get rid of this problem created by the controversial map app. The CEO of Apple Tim Cook has stated that the map will work properly with time and would be better if used more. Apple is quite active and is responding immediately on this matter, it is also helping the users by providing guides and helping them.

Consoling the users, Apple replied to their problems in such a way:

“Customers around the world are upgrading to iOS 6 with over 200 new features including Apple Maps, our first map service,” said Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller. ”We are excited to offer this service with innovative new features like Flyover and Siri integration, and free turn by turn navigation. We launched this new map service knowing that it is a major initiative and we are just getting started with it. We are continuously improving it, and as Maps is a cloud-based solution, the more people use it, the better it will get. We’re also working with developers to integrate some of the amazing transit apps in the App Store into iOS Maps. We appreciate all of the customer feedback and are working hard to make the customer experience even better.”

These words make it quite definite that Apple is working very hard to get rid of this problem. MacRumors has also gave evidences regarding it. It says that to improve the features Apple has introduced 3D content, including standard maps and satellite/aerial imagery, for New York, Honolulu, Hawaii, and areas of Los Angeles. Hope that all problems are fixed and once again Apple get rid of such a problem.
