There has been a lot of talk regarding what appears to be a smaller version of the iPad, that is the iPad mini. We are now getting reports from different sources mentioning that iPad mini is a real Apple product but not only just that, iPad mini’s design could beat that of the iPad 3′s!

Now a new report from AllthingsD mention the iPad mini’s design could “outshine that of the new iPad”. Citing sources from overseas supply chain; iPad mini could be even more sleeker than the current third generation iPad, if we are to believe this rumor.

The reason why Apple might be launching the iPad mini is kind of obvious, it is going to be launched in the market to fight against the competition from Amazon’s kindle Fire, and Google’s Nexus 7. The reason they are doing so well in this new category of tablets is the price. Starting from $199 these tablets are giving a serious competition to others. So what’s Apple’s response? Cut corners to bring the price down? Well the answer is no.

According to sources Apple is in fact going to reduce the price but without changing the Apple-y feeling a product has, in fact it is going to even feel better in the consumers hand.

We today had another report from Wall Street Journal that Apple has ordered 10 million iPad mini’s from supply vendors, which further adds fuel to the fire regarding an imminent launching of this new model of the iPad.

If Apple does release an iPad mini within a month or so we might be getting a new device from Apple that appears to have the best design we have seen so far. What do you think?
