Before the launch of iPhone 5, there were continuous reports about the leaked parts of iPhone 5 and even after the release of the phone, the trend has not changed. But this time rather then the leaks, reviews about iPhone 5, iOS 6  and especially about the map issues are hitting the sites. Each day a new problem pops up about the iOS map and the new solution is introduced. One such solution, we told you in our last article, was the ClassicMap app. But after observing all this chaos, one question comes to every mind, that was the best smart phone not aware of these issues or what the three month beta testing period was for?

So the answer to your question is that, Apple was aware of all these bugs in the iOS map. This claim came to the surface, when a number of developers came forward and said that they had already reported the fruit company about the bugs in the Apple map, in the months leading up to its launch.

One such app developer spoke to CNET about his experience with the software during the beta period and the complains that he made to the company. Ha says,

I posted at least one doomsayer rant after each (developer) beta, and I wasn’t alone,” a developer with three iOS apps in the App Store told CNET. “The mood amongst the developers seemed to be that the maps were so shockingly bad that reporting individual problems was futile. What was needed wasn’t so much an interface for reporting a single point as incorrect, but for selecting an entire region and saying ‘all of this — it’s wrong.

Though after the release of iOS 6 and the map issue coming to the surface, Tim Cook apologized and made promises to improve it. But the biggest mystery is that why the best smartphone company, Apple didn’t sort out the problem.
