When people give you gifts, you feel great but when a person gives you a gift and that happens to be an Apple product. It might seem the best day of your life. Until you find out that the box containing the Apple product isn’t what it’s supposed to be. This is exactly what happened to a 15 year old girl who got scammed when getting an iPad. Here is the iPad scam.
A mother who wanted to gift her daughter an iPad on her 15 birthday got a shock when they opened the box of the iPad. The box contained notepads instead of the iPad!
They were now the victims of an iPad scam which has recently started to increase.
Infuriated with being a victim of an iPad scam, Courtney and her mother went to local Wal-Mart where they got the iPad from. To their further shock, the manager of Wal-Mart did not do anything. They refused to refund, give another iPad or even apologize for this mishap.
Until the mother contacted a local news channel, which further contacted the headquarters of Wal-Mart. Then finally after some hassle, Courtney received the iPad gift which she was expected to get.

iPad scam has recently taken a hike. What scammers do is; they return an iPad but instead of an iPad inside the box they cleverly place a notepads or anything equal in weight of an iPad. Then they seal the iPad, which makes it look like it hasn’t been opened.
Well folks, if you are going to buy any Apple product make sure to check it out before actually paying for the device. And, it is highly recommended that you buy any Apple product from Apple stores to avoid mishaps such as this iPad scam.
