This is something most of us did not expect. The famous iOS hacker no longer works for Apple. Comex has been fired from Apple. The reason? Comex did not reply to an email from Apple. You read that right, Comex got fired because he simply did not reply to an email in time.
Comex Fired From Apple
Nicholas Allegra, or more commonly known as Comex, tweeted today mentioning he no longer works at Apple. In a series of tweets he mentioned that the reason that he no longer works at Apple is because he simply forgot to reply to an email.
So… no point in delaying.As of last week, after about a year, I’m no longer associated with Apple.

Forbes contacted Comex and asked for further details. Comex mentioned that he in fact got an email which was an offer to extend his internship at Apple, but he forgot to reply to that email.
It appears Apple takes offer letters very seriously as the offer was revoked shortly. Comex fired from Apple.
For those of you who are new to the jailbreaking scene; Comex is considered to be one of the most genius hackers of the iOS community. His jailbreak tools, jailbreakme 2, and JailbreakMe 3 have considered to be one of the fastest untethered jailbreaks of all time. No wonder Apple soon after the release of JailbreakMe 3.0, Apple offered him an internship.
As now Comex no longer works at Apple, many people are asking the question whether will he come back to the jailbreaking scene. We sure do need more hackers to hack iOS 6. But it seems he won’t due to restrictions placed by Apple over him in his initial contract as an intern.
So is he completely out of the jailbreaking scene? Well nobody can tell that for sure, but he might just make it back.

I think he tried to be slick and negotiate with another company(s) and delayed his response to Apple. Apple being a heavy-hitter in the corporate world found out and fired him or terminated his internship. I think it’d be better to have Comex on your side than not, just sayin’!
