If you are a person currently living in the United States, you would have the entire media talking about the hurricane sandy that has hit the United States and claimed many lives. Well as of today Apple stores are preparing for hurricane sandy. Check out the images below.

Apple Stores Hurricane Sandy

Hurricane Sandy, a category one hurricane is about to rain hell on the areas which fall under its eyes. The Government is fully preparing for this as much as possible, and President Barack Obama has declared emergency in the state of New York. Everything is closed from schools, businesses, shopping malls and of course, including the Apple stores.

Hurricane Sandy which is going to hit the east cost includes many Apple stores. It is expected that up to 50 Apple stores are going to be shut down, and Apple has asked each Apple store to prepare for the worst.

It is not only Apple stores that are being effected in the “tech category”. Google’s famous Android event was going to be kicked off on 29 October had been cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy.

Google has not put an official word when the Android event will be rescheduled which is expected to unveil Android 4.2.

Apple stores have put up sand bags around the stores to minimize the impact from the Hurricane Sandy.

Hurricane Sandy which is a category one storm has already claimed many lives, and hopefully not more is going to hit east cost on Monday to Tuesday. All those of you who are in that region we hope you are safe, and take care.
