One such news has met our ears that Scott Forstall, Apple’s SVP of iOS Software, will soon be leaving the company.

It has been said that there were numerous reasons behind Scott Forstall fallout from Apple but the most prominent one was the iOS 6 Map issue that brought iOS 6 a bit down. But with the time passing on, more details are hitting the sites so let’s check out the details.

Scott Forstall was always thought to be an abrasive personality and also it has been said that due to his such behavior Steve Jobs used to mediate meetings between him and Apple’s other executives. As GigaOM says,

According to my sources, there have been fissures in the management team for a while. Steve Jobs and Forstall were close, but none of the executives really cared for the deposed iOS chief. He really built a reputation by executing on Steve’s vision and acting as Steve’s mouthpiece.

Now if you are thinking what the fruit company has done as an alternative, then to tell you that rather appointing any replacement, Apple has decided to split up Forstall’s duties among the other leaders. Most important thing is that, Jony Ive has been made the head of Human Interface across the whole company.

Scott Forstall was even asked to compose an apology letter for the Apple Maps debacle. But he simply refused to do so, which shows his egoistic personality.
