  1. Request for help or suggestions.

I perform the jailbreak and tethered reboot according to the guide step for step, including selecting the iOS 6.0 ISPW each time I run redsnOw. However, no matter how many times I do a tethered reboot or redo the entire jailbreaking process, Cydia never comes up after respring. However, Cydia came up no problem when I jailbroke under iOS 6.0. Any suggestions?

    Device info: 3GS, ser. # XX934, iOS 6.0.1, baseband 06.15.00, redsnOW 0.9.15b3

  2. Exploit failed.
    Every time.
Is there any other way to jailbreak my iPod touch?
Any suggestions for how to make it work using Redsn0w?

thank in advance for your answer

  3. I followed al instructies on YouTube after jailbreak the iPhone..(wenn you shut it down) need to reboot again with snow. This does not work!!!!!!!! Thats why this Guy didn’t show it @the end of the video…! Reply fgs!

  4. Those who gets “exploit failed” message, might be running Windows 7.
You should run “Redsnow 0.9.15b3″ in “Windows XP Compatibility mode” and as Administrator, Otherwise you will get keeping this error message.

    • I was trying on Windows 8 Pro in XP compatability mode as administrator and kept getting an error. I went with a sn0wbreeze custom ipsw and it worked first time without a hitch. It may not be ideal but if you are on Windows 7 or 8 that would be my recommendation to you.

I get message exploit failed , i close all program with connect internet and antivirus now i can jailbreak thankyou maypolo.com

  6. This does not work, you have to specify more details, may be the baseband installed on the iPhone 3GS is very important, somewhere I have seen this but, already I tried to run “Just Boot” teens times without result and “exploit failed” error

  7. I kept getting “exploit failed” too.

The fix for me was to enter DFU without fitst powering down. (Enter DFU from a normally booted state)

  8. I downloaded the firmware for ios 6 and ios 6.0.1 and everytime I try to set up the IPSW the program cannot locate the firmware. So now I cannot jailbreak my IPod 4th gen everytime I try to. What do I do?

To get it to work, right click redsn0w application, click properties, compatibillity, and select WIndows CP (Service Pack 3). open redsn0w, Extras, Select IPSW, and the IOS version you jailbroke with. Now click just boot and follow the instructions.

This worked fine for me and the is no need to switch off KASPERSKY or any other antivirus software that you have installed.

  10. norton strikes again, took me 3 hours to figure this crap out, as soon as i removed nrton on my windws 7, it wored
