i found the error issue. rename the last word of the downloaded file to Update not Restore.. and then when u click click Shift Update not RESTORE. it will work.
Worked for me, no problems
I did the update with shift + restore as originally suggested but then got stuck with activation saying that it was not registered for developer account. It was pretty much stuck, but found this way of unstucking it by pressing home and power (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3928478) until it let me do a restore, so now I’m trying to do a restore back to 6.0.2 and will try now with the shift + update (and renamed file). is this what has worked for you guys or the restore worked without needing dev account?
thanks
