For last few days every blog was updating the customers about the best online deals for of gadgets and apps for thanksgiving and Black Friday and there was a tough competition between all the brands. Though the celebrations ended but the competition is still alive in the form of the result for the sales. So its the time unleash the final results of the sales.
Usually, due wide variety and affordable prices Android gadgets used to lead the sales but this time its different. Apple’s two dominating products, iPhone and iPad won the game, by leading the sales. This means that once again Apple defeated Android. Lets have a look on the statistics.
The analysis was made by the IBM Digital Analytics Benchmarks. According to them,
The iPad Factor: The iPad generated more traffic than any other tablet or smartphone, reaching nearly 10 percent of online shopping. This was followed by iPhone at 8.7 percent and Android 5.5 percent. The iPad dominated tablet traffic at 88.3 percent followed by the Barnes and Noble Nook at 3.1 percent, Amazon Kindle at 2.4 percent and the Samsung Galaxy at 1.8 percent.
For iPhone’s sales, we don’t have any doubt as it is the best and the leading smartphone in many markets. But the result produced by iPad was quite unexpected, as there were many other tablets also available, with amazing features and cheaper prices.
So now the question arises why Android is unable to have a strong hold on its users? Or is the web browsing experience on Android somehow less discovering or enjoying? The question can also be other way round that what is it about Apple’s products that make using the web so much more discovering and enjoying?
