No Cheaper iPhone Is Planned by Apple – Phil Schiller

By -

The most hottest rumor in the tech world relating to Apple is that, the all-time most expensive gadget making company is bringing a cheaper iPhone into the market to gain more market share, or we can say that the company is keen on focusing more on the emerging economies. But today Apple Senior Vice President of Marketing Phil Schiller gave a complete opposite statement about this upcoming lower-priced iPhone.

In an interview to Shanghai Evening News, Schiller said that Apple is not a company desperate for market shares, rather we believe in producing the best products and iPhone 5 is the best iPhone for Apple and his company is not concerned with market share.

He further compared fruit company with other leading companies and said that “We are not like other companies, launched multiple products in one breath, then pinning his hopes on a product to get the favor of consumers.”

Apple’s Vice President of Marketing greatly emphasized on company’s all time policy of never compromising on the standard and quality of the product, which uses the best technology, such as production processes, Retina screen, aluminum alloy, etc, to provides the users with the best smartphone experience ever.

This interview contradicts with the upcoming rumors about Apple’s launching a lower end iPhone, with a 3.5-inch screen and other components less expensive or many parts could remain the same or be recycled from older iPhone models. The report also said that iPhone’s price will range between $99 to $149 and will be launched in late 2013.

Is Apple really not concerned about having more market shares by introducing the iPhone mini or the company does not want the big news to be legitimate before Apple itself makes the announcement. Just wait and watch what next product will Apple bring in 2013.
