iOS 6 Untethered Jailbreak 2013

Pod2g and Planetbeing, two very famous hackers of the jailbreaking community have made progress regarding an untethered jailbreak for iOS 6. Both these hackers mentioned this via their Twitter accounts:

Planetbeing who is considered to be a “legend” in the iOS jailbreaking community has previously worked on most exploits which have helped create an untethered jailbreak for various firmwares.

Pod2g who is another great hacker of iOS jailbreak community is currently working with Planetbeing on releasing an untethered jailbreak for iOS 6 to the general public.

Although they have made significant progress on iOS 6 untethered jailbreak but they are still missing the initial code execution for a public release.

Those of you who are following the jailbreak-related news for quite sometime would know that this is definitely a great news for the millions who are waiting for an untethered jailbreak for iOS 6 and especially the iPhone 5.

Although we currently can not pinpoint an exact date for the release of iOS 6 untethered jailbreak but by judging this news, the release date has definitely moved closer. Maybe within a couple of weeks but again we can not say for sure.
