From a long time you guys were enjoying the competition and the battles between top OS but this a battle is about to get into the car world too. There is no doubt that Apple is the best OS in the world (some might disagree) but now it has become more popular in the car world too. In a previous post Maypalo informed you that Hyundai has announced Cars That Will Feature Siri In 2013. This time another major car company is ready to work in coordination with Apple. Honda, an other leading brand in the car world is all set to come up with a car that will be featuring Siri. Checkout all details here:
This year Honda is about to reveal some of its vehicles, which will feature Siri. In cars, Siri will work similarly the way it did in your favorite iDevices. It will be a voice activated, “Eyes free” system which will help you to convey your orders without even looking at the screen while driving. This will surely make driving more safe and fun.
Honda company has decided to work with an other car company, which is already featuring Siri in their vehicles. In the WWDC 2012, Apple stated that number of car companies are joining hands with them and are desperate to include Siri as an important feature in their cars. Some of the world’s top car brands like GM, Audi, BMW, Toyota, Honda, Land Rover, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, GM and Chrysler are to include Siri.
Honda’s 2013 Honda Accord and Acura RDX and ILX models will feature Siri starting this year. In a media release, Honda said that nowadays people are so attached to Apple that they want it in their lives as an everyday tool. They also said that featuring Siri in customer‘s vehicles will work as an incredible opportunity to provide next-generation connectivity and will meet the customer’s ever-changing needs and requirements. It is also said that the entire OS of the car has been redesigned and there will be Eyes Free Siri connected to Bluetooth HandsFreeLink through the onboard microphone and speakers.
These cars will surely be interesting to the new users who never have had this experience before, especially who want to try out the new Eyes Free Siri feature.
