iOS 7 has been released, bringing in tons of new features and functionality to the “most advanced operating system in the world”. But the one thing most of you will be interested in, is the jailbreak. Has iOS 7 been jailbroken? Are we going to get an iOS 7 jailbreak even while in beta? Even though you might consider it a bit too early to discuss but nonetheless let’s take a look into iOS 7 untethered jailbreak.
iOS 7 Untethered Jailbreak
Apple unveiled iOS 7 to the world in its World Wide Developer Conference. For the first time ever since the original iPhone, iOS has been completely revamped from the ground up. iOS 7 brings in a whole new design, ditching the almost six-year-old skeuomorphic design in favor of something more modern, something more unique.
We have already discussed about iOS 7 in detail in our previous post. Those of you who want an in-dept article about iOS 7 should visit our iOS 7 review. But those of you who want to know more about the iOS 7 jailbreak, well read below.
iOS 7 has only been released a couple of days ago but that hasn’t stopped some people to wonder about the iOS 7 untethered jailbreak. No, we are not telling hackers to release an untethered jailbreak for iOS 7 beta 1, as it would be a very stupid idea to do so. What we are actually talking about is finding exploits in iOS 7 and keeping them until the very end, only to release, once iOS 7 goes public. Now that would be a smart move to do.
Famed hacker, p0sixninja thinks the same:
Before the launch of iOS 7, many hackers including famous ones such as Pod2g mentioned they had found exploits that could be used for an untethered jailbreak on iOS 7 as they were saving it for future release. Well iOS 7 is here but the question remains is whether the exploits that were found can still be used for an untethered jailbreak for iOS 7? Well only time will tell.
Those of you with older devices can/should expect a tethered jailbreak for iOS 7 beta 1 or up-coming beta’s in the coming weeks. For those of you wondering, no it’s not going to be an untethered jailbreak. It will be a tethered jailbreak for iOS 7.
We should mention some important information here, that is; iOS 7 beta jailbreak won’t be released by any famed hacker. It would definitely be by some non-pro hackers.
