Steve Jobs, the legendary co-founder of Apple, made this company one of the most valuable companies in the world. At one point in time, Apple was thought to cross the magical trillion-dollar mark but instead it found itself in quite a bit of shock. Apple stocks and market share has steadily gone down in value over the past year, and now the question looms – why has it? CEO of Oracle has something to say about Apple.
CEO of Oracle, Larry Ellison, today in an interview to “CBS This Morning” mentioned something many had been thinking but nobody actually said it. Apple is failing without Steve Jobs.
Apple at one time was leading the market, nobody bothered to look at Android devices such as Samsung. But that was that, and today is now. Apple is losing this battle against the mighty Google with its increasingly popular Android operating system.
To add salt on the wound, Steve Jobs’ close friend and CEO of Oracle, Larry Ellison mentioned that Apple is going to fail without the leadership skills which were built into Steve Jobs.
In a question regarding Apple’s future this is what Larry Ellison had to say:
“Well, we already know,” Ellison told Rose. “We saw — we conducted the experiment. I mean, it’s been done. We saw Apple with Steve Jobs. We saw Apple without Steve Jobs. We saw Apple with Steve Jobs. Now, we’re gonna see Apple without Steve Jobs.”
Oracle CEO basically compares this to the last time Apple had no Jobs. Check out the video below.
We have seen Apple stocks tumble, but it is expected that the iPhone 5S and the budget iPhone 5C might revive Apple and give it the advantage it always had.
Well, what are your thoughts on these comments from Larry Ellison?
