Well I don’t think we need to get surprised that iPhone alone is bigger than any other company. This isn’t just an assumption. We already know that Apple has been launching and selling so many of its products. And iPhone is the top revenue of Apple. One cannot measure the sales of the company until and unless it is compared with other big companies. When it comes to comparison, Apple’s iPhone division alone beats out entire companies! Check them out below.
Even before iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c were launched, Apple’s smartphone took in $88.4 billion on its own. Apple’s other products like the iPad, Mac computers, iPod and iTunes made up $81 billion in sales in the last year. When iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c were launched, it made 9 million sales during the first three days of availability. According to Apple, iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c was a record breaker for the company.
The graph above shows the sales of the top leading companies in the world, as you can see Apple’s iPhone is at the top. It is followed by Procter & Gamble, Boeing, Home Depot and then finally Microsoft.
The graph only includes sales of the iPhone division not the entire Apple company.
The iPhone sales are so huge that they alone beat the revenues of whole companies like Microsoft, Coca Cola and Nike! This can just give you a glimpse on how important the iPhone is for Apple and how popular the iPhone is in the world.
Well what are your thoughts on the iPhone sales?
