Apple pulled off the curtains from iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite; both of which have brought incredible changes to Apple’s mobile and desktop operating systems. iOS 8 brings a whole new level of interactivity and new native apps, paving the way for Apple to unveil incredible products this year. Apple has ventured in to the health category by introduced new Healthkit app.

You can read the entire iOS 8 review and enjoy the new features but for whatever reason you are not happy with it, or simply wish to return to iOS 7.1.1 (maybe facing some issues?) there is always a way to downgrade from iOS 8 to iOS 7.1.1.

Step 1: Open iTunes.

Step 2: Connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, the one on you want to downgrade to your computer.

Step 3: Now simply click the “restore” button.

Note: Do not that restoring deletes everything and returns stock iOS to your device.

Step 4: Once the process is completed, your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch will be downgraded from iOS 8 to iOS 7.1.1.

Step 5: Now simply restore the back up and you are good to go.

  1. Didn’t work for me, tried but the error persists when I try to restore…

Tried in DFU, with another firmware but it seems my iPhone is dead.

Another solution let me know please.

    Thank you.
