We are less than 10 days away from the mega event: Apple’s event for the iPhone 6 and the iWatch. But today we have more information on the latter. iWatch will also be unveiled on September 9 alongside the iPhone 6 according to a former Apple advertising executive.
iWatch September 9
Ken Segall is an ex Apple advertising executive who has worked with Apple for a very long time. Today in a blog post he mentioned why Apple is going to launch the iWatch and the iPhone 6 together.
If you do not want to read the entire thing, let me give you a brief description. Apple hasn’t launched a revolutionary product for a very long time, the last one was the iPad, way back in 2010. So Tim Cook wants to give a grand display of Apple power, launching two big products in one day.
That is surely going to draw huge attention towards Apple, albeit many people being reluctant to spend almost $400 for the smart watch.
Apple has never launched two huge Apple products in one event, this would be the first time the Cupertino company would be doing it.
Apple wants a “blockbuster event” according to the former Apple advertising executive and the best way to do is to launch two amazing products.
This is not the first time we are hearing rumours about the iWatch and the iPhone 6 being launched together. Re/Code also published a report saying the two products are coming out on September 9.
Although there is a very high chance that iWatch will be launched alongside the iPhone 6 but there were various rumours that the iWatch will be shipped next year.
All of these rumours and nothing is confirmed until Apple says so. Well, all we have to do now is wait until September 9!
